Expect familiar & unheard musical places, the Taxi will put you in the company of the swing tradition from the likes of Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Louis Armstrong, Rex Stewart, Barney Bigard, Johnny Hodges, Cootie Williams, Benny Goodman & many more brilliant composers starting with the early swing era of the thirties up to the jump blues of the fifties. All members take care of soulful arrangements.
The band loves to feature great soloists to its concerts, so stay tuned and expect surprises!
